Souling #207 Wish I Knew What I Know Now

Dear younger version of me, 

What if I told you that who you are is in the hands of courage, faith, and self-belief? The courage to be fierce in the pursuit of the power of the greatness that is you without the need of approval from others. To have an unwavering faith that can handle every disruption, doubt, and insecurity that can keep you contained. A self-belief that guards every part of your being to withstand all comparison and judgement in order for you to be uniquely you! 

It's in these three truths that you can wage war on the anchor of worldliness that will do its best to confine you in a place that will paralyze you. It's in this paralyzing place that you will begin to lose your way. Recognize the need to fight back in the relentless pursuit to walk a joy filled loving life of adventure. You see, you are your own worst enemy with the power to diminish your own worthiness to live completely awake in your fearfully and wonderfully made self. Don't waste time carrying the childhood suitcase of brokenness that gets even heavier and heavier along your journey. Lighten your load by leaving out the unnecessary things you keep carrying. No need to continue to pack negativity, shove in our failures, or tuck shame into the corners of who you are. Remember, you are who you make yourself out to be. Stay clear minded by genuinely caring for your being by speaking love to who you are destined to be. Wear an armor to ward off the invasive thoughts that consume your mind and lie to our hearts. A poison which will inevitably steer you in the direction of destruction. A destruction that builds quickly and brews quietly within the mini journeys of life. Before you know it, you are blindsided by chaos that will spin you in circles not able to reach for the brakes. Hold tight and stand firm! It's in the spinning chaotic circles that there is a center in which you will find strength. A strength that grows you beyond measure.

We get to decide whether we allow it all to define who we are or to broadcast a light that each of us was craft-fully designed to radiate. A light that is like no other. Dim at times covered by the ugliness of darkness yet always still glowing.
